This book felt kinda surreal. After so long, waiting to find out how the series would end and what would become of Gansey, we finally found out. I almost couldn't believe it at first.

And I'm very happy with the conclusion.

The final book in a series is always a gamble. It's so easy for the book to not be enough because there is so much anticipation. I know I was freaking out over what would happen. I had a million scenarios. Though I still didn't see the end coming.

Like all books in the series, there are many perspectives and one of those is a new villain's. Though in this one, the villain was more than one.

Anyway, due to the multiple POVs, the pace is a bit slow even though there is a lot of stuff going on. But like always, the last parts make up for it.

I really liked the new characters that were introduced in the book and I still, and always will, like the old ones. I even grew to like Gwenllian.

Still, the book isn't perfect. The book dragged a little in the middle and we got a very vague report of what was going on at 300 Fox Way. I didn't like the way the visions from Book 1 were handled, either. There were few strings that still need tying up and I just needed something... something more from that epilogue.

Last night, I was all about giving the book 5 stars because I was very stoaked over the conclusion (but not the epilogue). Now that I've had time to get my thoughts in order, I realize that while the book was great, there were still a few things amiss and a few loose strings.

Overall, I love the book and the series. It took a long time to get used to the writing (I'm still not a fan but I've accepted it) and I had a rusty start with it. But it was unique and very memorable.

It hurts my heart that I'm not giving this book 5 stars. IT HURTS SO MUCH. But I couldn't ignore the few things that bothered me about this book.
I don't even know how to review this properly. I'll definitely be filming a booktalk to talk about more in-depth things, so I'm going to keep this quite simple.

I loved this book so, so, SO MUCH. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me happy. But I'm still left with so many questions. And I felt like certain things weren't explored enough? Maybe that's just me.

Before I had even finished the book I was already rereading favorite scenes (
SpoilerPYNCH KISSES
).
I am now left with a gaping hole in my soul and need to figure out how to move on with my life now that this series is over. I am in need of another entire book about events after The Raven King. Just saying. Get working, Maggie. Please.

I wish so badly that we could have gotten whatever MStief's vision for the sequel trilogy would have been. There were so many routes she could have gone. This was a good ending to the cycle. though I wish we could have explored Blue's heritage a little more (iykyk).

Ah my heart! The buildup over the cycle to a few key scenes was so worth it. There were still some twists & turns. I can’t wait to reread them!

This was such a unique series. I wouldn’t know how to describe it but I’m extremely glad I read it. And I love all of the romances 🥹

The only real negative I have for this one is there were some new characters introduced & I dislike that in final books.

February? February 2016? I....I can't process this. Unacceptable, I need it now!!!!! EDIT (Dec 19th, 2015): Pushed back again? April? Why are you doing this to us? I can't handle this!
EDIT: It's finally out, and I've finally read it, and now I'm so sad it's over and I loved it so much! Im going to deeply miss all the characters, especially Ronan. Holy shit, I love Ronan.
Also, I started to like Adam in this book, a lot, he was amazing in the demon possession scene (which really broke my heart, a lot, holy fuck).
Then of course, there's Pynch, which happened!!!!! OMFG, I was screaming. I have nothing but love for this book and this series. I'm just sad it's over.
