This is a blockbuster style book.

It's fun, it's interesting, but I'm not sure how long it will stick with me.

I already had a lot of questions on causality with the time travel element, and don't quite understand how all the loops tie together. The characters also don't have the depth I want from them, given that it's a small group. However, the premise is really interesting and I kept turning the pages. So, overall a good read and (hopefully) helping me slowly get out of my long reading slump.

The writing was simple and straightforward, and there were too many ocean metaphors, but the plot was insane. The relationships and people made this book.

This was really, really bad. The writing is absolutely terrible with bad clichés and metaphors, unrealistic dialogue, flat writing---I honestly can't think of one good thing about it. By page 150, I was bored out of my mind and I had already rolled my eyes approximately one hundred and fifty times (or once per page for you math people out there). The only good thing I can say about this book, is that my copy from Goldsboro GSFF was beautiful. But I won't be keeping it because I don't want to waste shelf space.
