Here I am finished with book two of Dragon Ball. It's much better than the first one in terms of sexualization of women and general creepiness, yet still had a few moments that just made me feel uncomfortable. The story does seem to have shifted away from women's underwear and more toward the actual Dragon Balls, so I have hopes it will get better, but I'm keeping my expectations buried underneath the earth (very low). We shall see.

Still just as funny as Volume 1, and we got to meet Emperor Pilaf! Despite our heroes walking right into their trap, they were still able to pull out the win. I think my favorite part was how Oolong foiled Pilaf's plans by stealing the wish....and what a wish he made. Completely in character for Oolong, and completely ridiculous at the same time. Especially when we see what he does with his spoils. Lol.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Goku train with the Turtle Hermit. So, on to the next volume!

Another great volume of Dragon Ball. I can’t wait to continue on with Son Goku’s story!
Goku was adorable again. He is by far my favorite character so far.
Pilaf comes out of nowhere to thwart the companions from achieving their goal.
Even though, I was spoiled about Goku's transformation, it was still intriguing to watch.
