A very practical guide to potty training. Highly recommend for any parent curious about training. My 19 month old picked it up in just 4 days!

This book I believe gives very good steps on actual potty training. The author has a lot of experience and provides lots of troubleshooting and real world scenarios. The problem that I had with this book is that I often felt that she was shaming the reader and that she gave all sorts of advice and opinions on other things parenting related with nothing really to back it up. So while reading a potty training book there was a lot of other things talked about that I don’t believe were necessary to the book. I will be using the potty training method and report back on this review.

Helpful, but not my style. Very black and white. She wrote from
Experience but not research. She is not a child psychologist but talks like she is. Some extremes gave me anxiety. But the steps of the basic format overall worked for my child and she potty trained quickly.

Did it help me potty train my kid? Yes. Was it also way too long and had glaring issues? Also, yes. It's basically the opinion piece before a recipe with lots of anecdotes and opinions. If you can find a good summary or guide online to skip the book - do it. I read the book and then found guides that made it much, much easier to understand since it didn't have all the fluff.
