After joining a support group and seeing other parents struggles, I don’t think I’ll follow this method. I’ll just take my moms advice lol
The advice seems sensible - although I havent tested it yet. But oh my god the sexism and exhausting gen x need to alternate between he and she. Unless you're addressing the potty trainer, who is of course, momma. If you wanna jump straight to the rage, there is a "cheat sheet for dads" at the end. All in all there wasn't a book's worth of information, so it's extremely repetitive, but covers what needs to be covered.

Excellent tips to help through a tough phase
Lots of filler, moderately condescending, not super helpful
So far this has proven to give us a wonderful start to potty training. Fingers crossed it continues.
Update: My only gripe is the writing style gets a bit long-winded. Having to go back and review to look up "issues" and such has proven to be a bit of a pain to sift through. That being said, this method certainly works.

I didn’t read every line of this book but found the overall strategy amd messaging extremely helpful. This approach worked super well for us.
