I’ll give this more stars if it actually works lol

I haven't tried the method yet, so I can't really say how it works, but this might be the most sexist and condescending books I've ever read. The author tells men to get their wives drunk, strokes their egos, and gives them figurative gold stars for "helping", while continually talking down to and shaming women. I can't believe I paid money for this. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Blech. Good for some parents and kids, I suppose, but not for all. Quite judgy!

I found this book really interesting, and incredibly helpful. I took all of the parts of this book that I liked and worked for us and it all worked really well. I'm so glad that I read this as we started on our potty training video as I was really just winging it before that.

Her method seems great and it was laid out pretty clearly and made sense, seems a bit old fashioned in the way she talks about gender roles within parenting and a few other things in her writing that I wasn’t a massive fan of but overall really easy to read, her method is clear and I can see why it works for most. I’m reading as my twins have hit a bit of a regression and I now feel pretty well prepared on how to support them and help teach them again!

Not really understanding the lower-star reviews when people are like, “Her potty training technique works but…” Well that sounds good enough to me, that’s what we’re here for

The most comprehensive book on potty training that literally addresses EVERY question or challenge I have ever had. Looking forward to using these methods to correct some of the challenge I’ve had with my son as well as potty train my twin toddlers.
