Interesting concept. Not very practical for parents who work full time. I will take some tips from it and leave others behind to suit my family's needs.

This is my life now. :-P haha - It was actually pretty good - at least as good as a potty training book can be. I'm planning to start training my two year old once school lets out for summer. Maybe I'll even bump it up to four stars if it goes well! The author seems to have a lot of good advice and expertise on the topic. It is written very conversationally, so it is pretty interesting and easy to read. Her plan for potty training really breaks it down into "blocks" that seem pretty easy to do (but we'll see!). I'm looking forward to trying to start potty training in a few weeks! I will update this then once I can test out how her methods work.

I could have done without the handful of F bombs that were dropped but besides that it was really excellent.

Well Crb decided to potty train about one or two chapters into this book,So I didn’t use it to accomplish that - However, I finished it in case I need to have any tools in my backpocket if she would regress. I am not a fan of their method for training, because it didn’t work for us. The Oh Crap method may work for someone else - I did like some of the tools like how to talk about the bathroom with your toddler. Overall, I wouldn’t try this method for future children, simply because I feel like toddlers will train when they’re ready.

I think her potty training advice is fantastic, but when she started talking about eliminating gluten and things like that, I think she was out of her lane. When she’s a dietician, I’ll take her advice about diet into consideration.

This book is about 100 pages longer than it needs to be and sometimes the authors tone is condescending but honestly after I got to the basics I just dnf’d it because the rest is kinda repetitive. So far it is helping my daughter with success and she is a bit on the younger side at 19 months but I do know her and her signs and she also responds well to other methods so I kinda mesh this with what works for her. I really don’t think the entire book is worth a read unless your at your wits end and need problem solving cause the author does offer that.

Definitely helped me get up the courage to potty train my 3 year old! It was a very simple/painless process, in part because we utilized many techniques in this book
