Interesting but his stories go on forever and he’s often just repeating himself. Needed to be edited right down.

This was informative and well written! It didn’t grab my attention like In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts. I think that may be due to there being less testimonials that pull at your heartstrings.
this book was really good — informative, interesting, and very validating to my experiences with add. i love how gabor ties in systemic issues such as capitalism and patriarchy, as to why parents are stressed/origins of add.
i just wish it was split into two books — one for raising children with add, and one for dealing with it as adults. i also would love to hear how it impacts or shows itself differently in women vs men.

A lot of great information about the origins of ADHD but not a lot on treatment or management from a clinical standpoint
