- Paranormal romance
- Quick read
- Mythological retelling

This quick and heartfelt prequel is a quick read. It is a companion for the upcoming book His in the Dark, which is a Hades/Persephone retelling.

In this book, Carlisle is desperate for his soulmate Ivy to remember him. She lost her memories of their relationship as part of a sentence for Carlisle.

Oh, my, how he loves Ivy! This book got me all in my feels and makes me that much more excited for His in the Dark!!

This has all the Willow goodness but make it Greek myth, it just adds a level to it that honestly made this so much more enjoyable for me. Plus it was a quick read on top of it too so that’s always great

In this quick read we get Ivy who thinks she is slowly losing her mind since she is feeling a presence that chills her to the bone. This presence is Carlisle and it seems that in past lives him and Ivy have loved and are soulmates, but fate keeps tearing them apart. The steam is off the charts and while this is an introduction to the next book, it will be dealing with Hades/Persephone story but I’m hoping we get more of Ivy and Carlisle because you can tell their story is deeply intertwined with Hades/Persephone’s.

This is a novella to start off Winter’s new mythology series. This is short and gives us a look inside this new world. Edinburgh is the setting for Ivy who is studying and can’t get rid of the feeling someone is following her around. We also meet Carlisle who just wants Ivy back as she is his soulmate for lifetimes.

This was my first Winter’s book and I can't wait to see where this series goes as its a little outside of my normal, but love mythology.

A Deal for a Kiss was wow!! It went from suspense, to thriller, to a hot love story, all in a prequel Novella! I can't wait for the full Hades and Persephone story to be released, because I need more of Ivy and Carlisle.

This is a steamy dark romance, Hades and Persephone retelling novella which is perfect for lovers of Greek mythology retellings.  I don't even like Hades and Persephone retellings, but I gave it a try because I've enjoyed all of the other books by this author.  I was delighted to have enjoyed this book so much. The story is told in dual pov and follows the MCs, Ivy and Carlisle. They are fated mates but unfortunately Ivy does not remember. This was short, quick, and steamy read.  My only issue with this is that, it was too short and really good, which left me wanting more. Big sighhhhhhh. I also listened to the audiobook which was dual narrated by Angelina Rocca and Scott Rose. The narration was entertaining and well done. The storyline pacing flowed smoothly and I would also recommend the audio.

Overall, Loved this read.❤️ in the meantime, I’ll be impatiently waiting for the January release of His in The Dark. I’m excited to see how this continues.

Yall this book is smoking! I absolutely loved it! You’ve got a Hades and Persephone retelling, and it was so well done that I didn’t want it to end! Carlisle was such an amazing MMC! You can feel his obsession and love for Ivy on every page.

“My heart pounds with hot blood and desire like I’ve never known. My Ivy. “Ivy,” I murmur with devotion. She makes a needy sound in the back of her throat and presses closer. Every inch of my skin remembers her touch. My entire body feels the need to hold her, to love her, to be enveloped in her scent.”

This book was a fast, quick read jam packed full of emotion, mystery and spice! Definitely recommend this if you’re a fan of spicy retellings!
