I think goodreads must be losing some of my reviews -- I could swear I reviewed this one as well. I like the gradual reveal of space boy's back story, but don't like the menacing threads that seem to surround him.

Because that's how life works. Sometimes things happen whether you want them to or not. I think learning to accept that is part of growing up.

The chapters in this book finally reveal more about Oliver, although the biggest revelation is simply that he has a large secret. Reading this part for the second time was very entertaining, because this time, I already know what is going and all the details make sense. It did remind me of the times when I was confused and trying to figure out what was up with Oliver!
Amy's relationship to her friends was deepened, although the most interesting development is how she slowly gets closer to Oliver. The special thing about Amy is how she associates taste with every person and she finally starts to be able to get Oliver's taste.
I'm so looking forward to the next comics! (And of course every new webtoons chapter, although these are very heartbreaking and tragic right now D:)

4.5, I am perpetually impatiently waiting for the next installment. Space Boy is PHENOMENAL and has some great representation and themes.

Book 1 for The Reading Rush!
Fits challenges
- Read a book in the same spot
- Read a book with a non-human MC!
