Think mr and Mrs smith movie, but one dies and it turns into a whodunit.

This has a very good plot, with drama and action. However, I did not think the book needed to be that long nor did it need that many plot twists for the totally saw it coming ending (mostly)

First part was great. I was totally hooked, staying up to read, and wanted to figure out what happened. Around half way, though, I figured out the big reveal and it started to feel a bit more paint-by-numbers, rolling towards an unsatisfying ending.
