This one was too slow for me and to in the head of the main character. Didn't tell like we got anywhere in the storyline till 70% of the way through.
dnf @ 66% i tried y’all i really did. this was my first ruth ware and maybe it wasn’t the best choice for my first one. the first chapter was SO MUCH FUN i thought i was in for a unique thriller with things i’ve never read from before. it all went downhill from there. SO boring and like every other thriller i’ve ever read. just didn’t care at all about this story or the characters.

I devoured this in four hours. The comparison’s to The Fugitive are accurate. Really engaging story. While I was able to figure out pretty quickly the big plot twist, it was still exciting to see how it all played out.
