Jo Firestone is a hilarious comedian so I had to pick this up. It had a similar vibe to Bob Mortimer’s novels, to the point where I think they’d be friends.

A few hearty laughs, a bit of murder, and no sex to speak of – perfect for someone who doesn’t like smut (me).

Jo Firestone is a national treasure.

The worst book I’ve ever read. Such a pity because I love so many of the shows Jo Firestone’s written for but this book was painful to get through.

So fun. So silly. A fantastic modern take on a cozy mystery.

There's not enough of a mystery hear for this to work as even a comedic mystery. I like Jo Firestone's comedic voice and definitely hope she continues writing--the comedy in this was spot on, there just wasn't a lot of plot to sink my teeth into.
