The last few books I've read have felt really heavy and I was looking for a brain-break. I remembered this ridiculous sounding book that a friend had told me about. Consumed on kindle.

This is obviously very silly. The detective is a terrible detective, but is at least intended to be. I was distracted by the constant asides and did wish there was a bit less of that (might have been better on audio), but all in all this was exactly what I was looking for-- stupid and light.

I read half on my kindle and listened to the author read the other half. The author reading was DELIGHTFUL and I HIGHLY recommend reading this book that way!
