Absolutely devoured

I loved book 1 and 2 and was so happy to learn that book 3 was only days away from releasing. I absolutely ate this up. I normally don't enjoy 2nd chance tropes and anything poly can be awesome or equally weird. The 3 MMCs were all fantastic in their own way and their personalities blended so well together. I cannot wait for book 4 and frankly at this point anything Amy Padilla writes is a top tier mm romance book.

If I'm honest, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first two books in the series. Normally I'm completely onboard for a throuple, but it felt like something was missing here. Tony was a sweet character and I loved him, but the constant 'I'm fine, I can handle it' began to wear a little after a while. I would also have liked to explore his relationship with his family and the members of his squad a little more to understand his background a little better. Taron is a force of nature and I love him to bits, but again his constant sniping at Zephyr became a little much over time. Zephyr was, to be honest, the most interesting character and I would have loved to know more about him. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the book and I like the world the author has built and as romance's go, this had all the right parts. I just lacked a little depth. 3.75 *

I really love this series! The evolution of relationships in each one feels so organic and thought out. The disability and chronic pain rep in this particular book was well represented and heartbreaking in the best way.

This was a great mmm. Established couples adding a third is usually good but I liked the added element of a sort of lovers to enemies to 2nd chance lovers arc of this one.
