I enjoyed this story. It is full of strong characters and emotions. Tony is a good man and it was nice to see him find happiness. Taron and Zephyr must put aside their past if they want to look towards a future. The pull between these men cannot be denied and I enjoyed watching the interactions between them all. It was nice to see how the relationships form and grow with all of the men. Each man has his own personality that shines in its own way and I loved each of them. I enjoyed seeing how everything comes together and the support that comes from all the friends. Tony has found a new and better family that cares so much more than his actual family. This is another good read in this series. I was quickly pulled in to the story and engaged all the way to the end.

While I loved seeing Taron get his HEA, and I enjoyed the storyline overall, I was not a fan of Zephyr. I found him argumentative and condescending. He accused Taron of being “immature” and a “brat” continually and blamed him for why things went wrong between them previously. However I found him just as bad, if not worse. He was just better able to hide his immaturity through speaking calmly when Taron had a loud, hotheaded nature. I kept waiting for the moment where the switch would be flipped for me and I would fall for him as much as I like Taron and Tony but sadly it never happened for me.

I did enjoy how they centered Tony, especially in the early days between them, but even when Taron and Zephyr sorted things out Tony still remained the one who was able to help bridge the gap between them. The cameos of our previous couples were well done and I was surprised to see the fae EMT make another appearance in this book. Will his story be next? While this book was not my favourite of the series, I did still enjoy a lot of it and hope there is more to come.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Great story as always. I’m a sucker for a sweet softy and their protective mate. I loved getting a better picture of who Taron is. He is so much and he has such a good heart even though he looks like such a trouble maker from the outside.

I struggle with “lack of communication” tropes so I had to really push past those parts of the book.

I devoured this is one sitting! Adored it. Taron's been a mischievous, but steady friend in previous books and I was excited to learn more about him as the MMC. When I learned he was gonna have TWO mates?! It made perfect sense for his energy levels and temperament.

Tony....oh what can I say about Tony. I fell in love with him and related to his fears of being a burden -- in Tony's case due to his need of accommodation due to disability. He's smart, kind, and touch starved. I just adored him. I'm sure you will too!

Zephyr is a dashing thunderbird shifter who is calm, steady, and Taron's childhood bff and first love?! They haven't seen each other in years, and they snipe at each other due to unresolved issues... yet there is still deep affection on both sides.

Both Taron and Zephyr feel an instant connection for Tony. They both wanna shower Tony with affection, and our sweet little touch starved sponge soaks it up. Will having Tony in the middle of their stubborn, caretaking sandwich be the catalyst to them getting their shizz together?!

Spoiler: Yes. But it takes work, communication, time, and a couple missteps! Personally I enjoyed the pacing of their MMM dynamic!

CW: Traumatic injury/chronic pain/disability rep
Brief on page ableism, refusal to provide disability accommodation
Mentions of prejudice against humans, and some inter-supernational community biases
