This was a decent story that I found entertainment in reading and I think my dislikes is more of a "me thing" as I wasn't meshing with the writing style. So, please don't let me rating stop you from picking this up! (I am intending on picking up the 2nd book to try the author again).

This book is the perfect blend of heat, humor, and heartfelt moments!

Finn is gruff, responsible, and totally blindsided by his attraction to Ash—his son’s new nanny and his girlfriend’s twin brother. The tension, the self-discovery, and the undeniable chemistry between them made every moment of this story so addicting. Ash is an absolute ray of sunshine, bringing light and laughter into Finn’s life in ways he never expected. Watching Finn navigate his feelings, all while trying to be a good father, made this story incredibly heartfelt.

The audiobook narration? Flawless. The dual narration brought these characters to life, making every stolen glance, teasing remark, and emotionally charged moment hit just right. The narrators captured Finn’s grumpy, conflicted energy and Ash’s playful charm perfectly, making it impossible to press pause.

4.5 rounded up!

This book was the perfect mix of spice and love. Love for family, for oneself, and for each other. The tension and the angst building from the get-go were everything. I was enthralled by how Finn was feeling and his thoughts on his attraction to Ash.

Finn was the rough cowboy, with a permanent scowl on his face that only lit up for his kid, until a very handsome manny showed up and started making his days easier and happier. His character was perfect. The back and forth and doubts on his sexuality were (I think) accurate and once he decide he was in, he was all in.

And Ash, while a little chaotic, had my heart for how wholely and fully he fell in love with T and then Finn. His relationship with his sister mattered to him and even in his guilt he still fell for the man he was destined to be with.

The sister really didn't deserve any kind of redemption arc in my eyes. I don't forgive or forget and hope that she gets a shrink because she needs it badly.

Also, that maid outfit was the least expected thing in the world.

Thank you to The author agency and Ashley James for the e-arc!!
