A lot of this went over my head, but I find reading poetry in a non-native language much harder than reading fiction or non fiction. So it is not the collections fault. Overall I found this really powerful.

Stunning! There are time travel poems I’ll come back to again and again.

Clever concepts in these poems. I liked how Sally Wen Mao experiments with the intersection of pop culture and (self-) harm done to Asians. The collection of Anna Wong poems reinvented throughout cinema history was especially engaging and incisive.

This opened my mind to what poetry can be about and do. Disquieting and delightful!
