It's over. It's finally over. I am PRAYING this is the last book in this series because I cannot handle another book. I had such high expectations for this series and I am oh so disappointed. I don't even think that word describes how much I hate these books, and I never like to say that I hate a book. I am very upset that I made the decision to spend my money on these books, but luckily I know a place where I can sell these and get money back for something better. Oh and one more thing. The best part of all of this books was finishing them because now I can move on and read something better.

I will admit up front that I am not a Jack & Jill fan and did not think we needed to return to The Moors to see a continuation of their story. HOWEVER, I was wrong. This was an excellent book, and really- forgive the pun, but I must- fleshed out Christopher and made him more interesting than a lovesick boy who wants to return to the Day of the Dead Land. Sumi was also a lot more compelling in this book.

This one wasn't for me. I don't know if I'm just not in the mood for this type of fantasy at the moment but I found it very "quest" heavy, something I didn't really associate with this series (except for Under the Sugar Sky), and the identities of these lost children as heroes who have grand plans to be the big bad didn't really ring true to me. Again, it's probably just my mood, but I find myself losing interest in the series.

I'll say one thing, there is always great representation, (plus size and LGBT are the ones i can think of at the moment).

Everyone: Ahh welcome to Moors, a dangerous place where we should all stay together so we can be safe—
