What to say about this book? I enjoyed the storyline and loved all the subtle hints toward the story of The Lion King. It was like finding Easter eggs throughout the book. I liked Sarah's character overall, I had love-hate feelings toward Tristan.

It was a fairly violent book which is not really my thing but it didn't stop me from reading it.  I also felt the spice overwhelmed the story at times. I enjoy spice, believe me, but I don't enjoy when it completely overshadows the story or makes up half of the plot unnecessarily.

I loved this book sooooo much Tristan aka the scarred prince was my literal favorite character in the whole book as much as you get to love the characters in the book you end up loving the story just as much if not more i was a little irritated of how slow it took for Tristan and Sara to get together but when they did omg was it worth it so far i honestly think scarred is my favorite book in the never after series i haven't read wretched or twisted yet only hooked and scarred i loved hooked but scarred was a perfect mix of character and story line it will forever be in my top 10 favorite books it is most certainly a five star from meπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ

I'm so happy I read this book!

I was in such a reading slump and I'm hoping this got me out if it because the story was so good! It checked off almost everything I love in stories (diversity, strong women, lots of spice but still a slow burn, etc.).

Loved that the story is set in the 1910s and the Lion King defences so some SO WELL. I'm absolutely in love with the ending omg 🫠.

Love this so much better than Hooked but the story was also so good!

Only reason why I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is because I'm super conservative with my 5 stars and I would have loved mutilple point of views from other characters like Sheina, Edward, Paul and Simon to begin with but that's just my preference!

Do not read if you’re looking for plot. This is strictly spice with plot thrown in for necessity. The plot that is present runs the typical enemies to lovers,
you killed my father
prepare to die routine. That being said, the spice is unreal. Especially the scene in the Church.
