Probably the single most important book I have read in the last decade or honestly, probably the most important read of my entire life. I am a DFK/Highly Sensitive Person/self-diagnosed Autistic adult woman with a lot of trauma from my childhood raised by neurodivergent parents struggling with addiction and addiction adjacent issues. Aka, I barely know how to be an adult in the world as is, let alone how to deal with other people or children. This book gave me framework to help people deal with me during meltdown and with my general anxiety that, with my history, wasn't even something I could imagine before this book. Now, I can see myself differently and therefore see other people as such too. Will read many times. Thank you, Dr. Becky.

It’s so nice having a therapist remind you that you and your children are Good Inside! I love Dr. Becky and her approaches to parenting, self-love and building resilience.
