Honestly just boring, like get to the point! The ending was nice but the lead up felt so drawn out! Like nothing was really happening, I was just waiting for something to happen and all that happened was the ending. Also don’t call your mother “mommy” you are like 15/16..

I read this book in two sittings. I felt like I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely had to know what happened. The ending was devastating with a completely unexpected twist. I hated it. So naturally 5 stars.

THIS BOOK IS NOT MIDDLE GRADE!!! It is maybe 13 and but I would say 14 is youngest. It is HEAVY and deep. It will leave you numb, it throws you through loops, and it is NOT lighthearted. Yet,  this is still a pretty amazing book, but you have been warned.

This books seems slow and tame to start, but it is not. It is so sad but the writing is incredibly beautiful and gives meaning to the story in an incredible way. Not for the faint of heart/
