I have a lot of feelings about this book. It was powerful and sad. It was well written. I guess it did what it was supposed to do (evoke a lot of emotion and keep me guessing about the MC pretty much until the end). But I can't say that I enjoyed it.
DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE DEATH OF ANIMALS OR PEOPLE.

I'm way late to this party
Late enough that I knew there was some kind of crazy twist. Something to tear me apart. And I thought I was prepared for it; but alas I was not.

I went into this book looking for the twist, thinking I could figure it out like I do with so many other plots but I didn't. It genuinely caught me off guard, now I can't wait to find a copy of Family Of Liars

I reread it for the prequel.
I read this book back in 2016 and was confused to see this book blew up on TikTok in 2022??
Idk a lot of people have strong feelings about this book, I remember reading it for the first time and I was flabbergasted: the plot twist, the writing style. But I was like 12?? It’s a pretty disturbing and sad book but it’s y/a so idk why people expect it to be great.
Personally I didn’t quite get the whole point when I read it for the first time, I didn’t understand the ending and overall was pretty much confused for the most part, but reading it now I cried. It’s not the best book I’ve ever read but it’s decent quick read the plays with your head. Nice.

Holy shit. Truly felt like I was just as confused as Cadence about everything until the mystery unfolded. Binged the entire audiobook in one sitting. This is a riveting, emotional story.

Plot twist of the century. I really didn’t see it coming a hundred miles away.

Woah. That was an unexpected twist. I noticed the pacing of the first 3/4 of the story was slow... abt midway I was always like 'when will there be a sudden turn of events or smth' :|
Some parts were kinda tedious but I still managed to read through them. It was a good book though.

I had no idea what to expect going in to this and I’m so glad. Cadence, our main character, is a confused mess after her accident and takes us on a journey to piece together her missing memories. It’s a story you have to experience for yourself! The writing style is not exactly my favorite but the story, mystery, and characters are what led me to 4 stars.

Really short chapter 87 for only a  225 page book. It was badly written but had a good plot twist at the end
