This installment of the little people BIG DREAMS series is all about Ayrton Senna, a Brazilian racecourse driver who made a name for himself in the Formula One championship and who fought for better safety for the drivers after witnessing not only how a friend crashed but how only one person stopped to help - Aytron himself.
I have to admit that I never thought about that side of the competition when joining my father to watch a race.
I really liked that a sizeable chunk of this book was devoted to how Aytron grew up and showing his determination and passion at a young age, which is appropiate for the target audience.
The arc was provided by the publisher.

Another beautiful addition to this series. The story of a boy who dreamed to drive and change the world. Gorgeously illustrated.

AYRTON SENNA is another great addition to the Little People, BIG DREAMS series. I really enjoy these stories that often showcase that having personal belief and a strong drive – pardon the pun - are no barrier to achieving big dreams.
These books are aimed at young children but I tend to discover facts about these people that I never knew myself.
I like the facts and photos section, as well as suggestions for further reading.
The illustrations are their typical good quality.
