Also, I love a good mystery that involves a wood duck and not a murder.

Whitty dialogue, strong friendships, old ladies with lots of personality. Just a fun light read.

I really struggled to get into this book. I listened to the audio book and had to renew it because I wasn’t making enough progress. I did like the ending and how she stayed true to herself and the untraditional roles she wanted. But the duck story was really slow.
