This was something of a slow burn for me - I expected that it would get right into the adventure aspect, and especially the lost-in-the-bush-fending-for-themselves part. Like, it's explicitly mentioned in the blurb! I thought for sure it would start by the 30% mark. So yeah, it didn't quite play out as I expected it would.

Don't get me wrong, I had a lovely time with this and I really liked the two protagonists. I just wanted more of the adventure part and less of the lead up. But I had a wonderful time reading this regardless.

Pretty cool YA romance realisticish fiction.  Themes: Romance, celebrity, reality TV, grief, adventure

This book was just so well done. I loved the take on this., it kind of reminded me of to Win a Date with Ted Hamilton but make it she hates him. I loved the mental health representation in the book. It was so well done and just made me happy to see that. This book had me laughing one minute then crying another. I really enjoyed this and think this book was so well done and people should 100% read it. I thought that the depiction of the outback was well done, and I was able to picture where they were going. All in all, this is a must read for an unique cute romance book!

The audio was narrated by Nikki Thomas and Heath Miller, and it was so well done. Nikki Thomas did such a good job brining Charlie to life. both of the narrators brought the characters to life as well as brought the chemistry off the page and into the audio. Very well done audio!

Thank you NetGalley for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Unfortunately I am too cynical for this level of cheese, but it was cute. Aus setting is always nice.

This book was such a beautiful read with an amazing nature feel that made me feel completely immersed in its world. I really loved the main characters and how their personalities brought warmth and depth to the story.

That said, I personally felt the plot could have been stronger. There weren’t many twists, and at a certain point I could tell exactly where the story was heading. It’s still a great book, though—just not as unputdownable as Noni’s Prison Healer series (which I loved so much).

If you want a story with a soft, nature-filled atmosphere and heartfelt characters, Wandering Wild is still worth the read. 🌱
