I liked this one way better than part one
Still the first meeting between Rider and Mokoya was a bit strange to me but further down the book i did like their relationship. I also liked the way Thenjay and Mokoya both handled the grief of their daughter differently. It was well underlined that not everyone's grief is the same. Also kudos for their open relationship I guess?
One thing I did miss was more connection between the twins. I know this was more focused on Mokoya but I had this problem with the first book as well that their realtion lacked in some aspects. We are shown they care about each other but not in a way that felt genuine to me :/
And about the end:I think it would be a better ending if Mokoya did die. It just felt more fitting to the story. Although I do understand why the writer wouldn't.
