Almost nothing here comes to a “do this, and you’ll definitely get better.” The author hardly ever comes to any real conclusions. This became a difficult read around the halfway point, but alas, I endured.

A fast and action-packed read, especially if you are an endurance sports junkie! I particularly enjoyed the exploration of how the brain supports and also limits our capacity to endure long-distance stress, and how we might be able to use this knowledge to our advantage in reaching higher limits.
