The content was informative but this book has nothing to do with how to do nothing. Very frustrated I wasted my time continuing to read this thinking that she must get to the point in the next chapter.

maybe would’ve hit better if i read this before the pandemic & before i came to most of these conclusions myself

I didn't understand it all, and I glossed over some spots. I did get this lesson: If you're going to pay attention to something, pay attention to your surroundings (instead of relationships online). Get into nature. Pay attention to the breeze, the temperature, the sounds, the sights, the birds, the trees, the leaves, the insects...
A segment that will help me not pass my own self-imposed boundaries - "I think often about how much time and energy we use thinking up things to say that would go over well with the context-collapsed crowd — not to mention checking back on how that crowd is responding. ...when I do it, it feels not only pathetic, but like a waste of energy.
What if we spent that energy instead on saying the right things to the right people (or person) at the right time? What if we spent less time shouting into the void and being washed over with shouting in return — and more time talking in rooms to those for whom are words are intended?"

The beginning was good but the rest of the book read like a drag. Too many examples piling up made it boring.

I really liked this book! I can see how other people might not have liked it, but for me it brought a fresh perspective to the media/ technology, especially during this pandemic and quarantine.
