This was a very unique story, spanning over many years, and is apocalyptic and beautiful. I liked the first half better than tge second, the writing is beautiful and the story heartbreaking. Would recommend if you're interested in ecology and the potential future.

4.25

4.25 // Good read. Really makes you think about climate change and how quickly things can change over the years. I would give this book 4 stars just for the plot but I bumped it up 4.25 for the climate change awareness.

Favourite quote: “Humanity was an ecological disaster”

I think this book is going to be huge when it releases. I got my hands on an ARC and read it in one sitting. Wow. When this book hits the shelves it’s going to be huge I just know it. Great great great work, beautifully written and amazing cast of characters. Reading this book was like slicing through butter with a hot knife. So much loss and sadness but such resilience and hope. Just… wow
