A good mix of short bits. Some were more powerful than others, but there weren't any that I didn't connect with in at least a small way.

Even more than short stories, flash fiction is a difficult form to master and the fourteen stories in this issue are all pretty good representatives. They're all short enough that it doesn't really make sense for me to do an in-depth analysis of each one...though I think it says something that I probably COULD do an analysis on many of the stories that would likely be longer than the story itself.

My favorite was The Pumpkin-carving Contest by Dayle A. Dermatis, which was both whimsical and creepy. I keep thinking which stories were least successful for me and I'm somewhat tied between "Loving Armageddon", which is too poetical and not lucid enough for my taste, and "Space Travel Loses Its Allure When You've Lost Your Moon Cup" which is pretty much (and nothing more, sadly) that what the title says.

In any case, the whole issue is short enough to be read in a single sitting and takes you to many, very different realities, which is the fun part of reading anthologies. I very much enjoyed this issue.
