(1) This book reminded me of You in lots of ways, and similar to my experience with You, it definitely made me reflect on what I'm sharing and where I'm sharing it.

(2) The references to influencer life were so spot on that it was cracking me up - talking about presets and staging content and going live - like I just truly appreciated how accurate it was!

(3) I was OBSESSED with seeing a friendship from both Audrey and Cat's perspectives. So often - even when we take the time to think about how others feel - we're not accurate on what they're thinking. Seeing each of them interpreting different moments was so great.

Like! It's a quick read and I was left wondering until the reveal about who the stalker was.

DNF for me, unfortunately I couldn't develop a relationship with any of the characters as they felt really shallow and I didn't understand the connection between Audrey and Cat and found it to be really tedious reading the chapters told from Cat's pov.

Not for me, but lovers of the television show YOU would most likely get really invested in this book.

Best book I've read in 2022- I love the pacing, the concept, the setting: once I got into it, I was on the edge of my seat.

I received an advanced reader copy of Follow Me from Gallery, Pocket Books via NetGalley, in return for my honest opinion.

Follow Me by Kathleen Barber is a story about friendship, trust, and the person that we pretend to be. Audrey Miller has a large Instagram fan base. She’s always striving to be perfect for her fans and has a tendency to put her social media persona before her actual friendships.

Audrey’s the type of girl who always attract attention. Since she’s so well known on social media, people assume they know the real Audrey. Now someone is going to great lengths to get Audrey’s attention and she is terrified. Does Audrey know the person who has become obsessed with her? What will this person think when they find out who the real Audrey is?

This was a fast, easy read that keeps you on your toes up to the end. If you’re a fan of You by Caroline Kepnes, you’ll love this book. Follow Me is available today, Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

This is similar to You but nowhere near as good.

I hated Audrey, I found her so shallow and irritating, but maybe that was the point.

A cautionary tale on the dangers of posting too much to social media.

I knocked off a star as I worked out who the stalker was early on.

Um. 2.75 stars rounded up. I felt so much frustration reading this book and I wanted to smack everyone. Kinda wished the ending was different and grittier.

Loved this one just as much as her first novel, Are You Sleeping. A twisty thriller told from multiple perspectives, the author creates a vibe that is reminiscent of the Netflix series, You. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this book and the end was deliciously twisted!

Multiple POV's can be difficult for me to read sometimes, but the author made incredible transitions and it felt smooth and flawless.

The depth of the different characters was masterful, and the plot was absolutely brimming with suspense.
