── .✦ What are the chances this is poison?" I asked.
Jack sat in thought for a moment. "I'd say fifty-fifty. Bottom's up, Juliet. Let's play Russian roulette."

It's official -- Maggie. C. Gates can write one hell of a fluffy romance.
I adored reading 100 Lifetimes of us in January, and I sure as hell enjoyed reading this one. I'm sure I'll love 500 First Editions in a few days as well.
Jack and Aurora both had their own issues to get through, and did so fairly well. It was all very adult-like. I ate it up.
Unlike 100 Lifetimes of Us, this one did have some conflict (if you want to call it that) between the MMC and FMC in the third act, but it wasn't bad in any stretch.
It wasn't like a breakup. And I loved that as well. Give me 10 more. And a Jack Wharton while you're there, please!

First off, thank you for the ARC! This was a great swoony summer read! Jack knew the moment that he met Aurora that she wasn't just a summer fling. I couldnt put this one down. This book was a good reminder that while some doors might close, it doesnt mean that its the end of everything!

What a cute book. Jack just joined the list of my most favorite book boyfriends. Super happy with this book. Their story was sweet and not at all annoying like some other stories can be.
