I was locked in for the first half-3/4th of this book but it kinda lost the plot toward the end. The concept of a survival hide and seek game in an abandoned theme park plus the bonus of having lesbians is right up my alley! Unfortunately, I just didn’t find the /reveal/ to be satisfying.

I felt like I was missing a story. There seemed to be a lot of back story to each character that kept being sort of explored but not. That's the reason it's not a 5 star for me. Outside of that I liked the flaws of each character. I do think this story couldn't have been fleshed out deeper and made longer but it was a neat little thriller with great twists until the end.

Cool concept. Poor execution. It was paced way too slow, and there’s no atmosphere or sense of fear. For a death game story, there’s very little gore. Most of the death are off screen. The characters are so vague that many of them blur together.

An excellent concept, not executed the way I’d expected. I struggled to pick this one back up once I put it down. I enjoyed, just not as much as I’d hoped.
