The Walking Dead has become so repetitive and mundane that after I finished reading this volume I realized I hadn't actually read All Out War, Part I and it made no difference whatsoever. I read this mindless, lumbering series out of habit but I should really stop.

Real rating : 3.5/5

The war is over, at least for now. Rick's group hopes to unite all groups into one people to build something better than before. That only the dead is the enemy.

Who knew monologuing was an effective form of war. Oh wait, it isn't!

Tip to Kirkman: Don't make your villain brilliantly evil, only to have him defeated by a monologue about how if everyone just came together and sang kumbaya in harmony the world would be a better place. What a crappy way to finish the war.

wow that was an exciting arc

Another really good volume! I have pretty much enjoyed this series all the way through and look forward to more. Twists and turns. Surprises and scares. The greatness just keeps on coming. I'm glad that I am finally all caught up.

My least favorite to date.

Did everyone just see how far this went on, which is even better than how we thought of it in the TV series?

Our favorite Ricktator has just laid down the biggest smackdown of his zombie-hunting, civilization-building career, and it cannot be more emphatic than the one that he had given to Negan.
