I'm glad this series is finally taking a bit of a new direction and I'm definitely interested to see the series continue in this vein.

Rick is pissing me off. And it feels like I've read this volume before because it's so repetitive.

SPOILERS BELOW
What is the fucking point of this war if it's not to kill Negan? Rick finally has the perfect opportunity to kill this monster and he decides now it's time to be civilized? What the fuck Rick? I can't believe Rick thinks Negan will be reasonable. Hasn't he learned based off his experiences with The Governor and the cannibals and every other shitty cruel person that sometimes people can't be reasoned with? They need to die in order for Rick and his people to be safe.... I just can't believe Rick would ever let someone as terrible as Negan go. They way he killed Glenn... He deserves to die for that alone. Rick is becoming too soft and I hate to say it but I agree with Carl. They need to kill Negan to stay alive. At the end when Rick says he wants to watch him rot in a jail cell.. Like what's the difference? Killing him would be better than letting him rot in a jail cell and wasting food and resources on him. I just can't! I don't know what's happening to Rick...

I gave this one 2 stars because I did like how Negan's people covered their weapons in zombie blood so that everyone who got injured gets infected and dies. That's brilliant and I don't know why nobody ever thought of doing that before.

I read this last night to make myself put down The Secret Place since I am really, really trying not to blow through that too quickly. So this succeeded on some level, since it made me leave Tana French alone for an hour. I don't quite know what else to say; the character that I want to die is still not dead? I like the way Carl is being drawn now as an older kid, but when he doesn't have his hat on I can't really tell the difference between him & the (ostensibly pregnant) Maggie? I guess don't want to more closely examine the reasons that I keep reading these even though I no longer care for them. I tend to look away from accidents when I pass them rather then at them, so that adage doesn't apply. I suppose I like Nagen &
waiting for Rick to DIE already
enough to keep on.

Rather disappointed by how things went down with Negan.

Pretty good.

Just how stupid can Rick be?

This conclusion to All Out War was better than the first half. Negan made some very stupid and uncharacteristic mistakes in both of these volumes which slightly bothers me but it was still a good story and it had a good ending. I'm excited to see where the story goes now!

Primeira tradução do ano.

Bumped up to 4 stars on second reading

Of course we can't just wrap up a war, and expect life to just pick up where it left off! This is clearly not the end of all of Rick's troubles and I LOVE where Kirkman took the Negan storyline! I have a sneaking suspicion that we haven't seen the last of that group...

If I'm nitpicking, I found a lot of the illustrations too dark, making it difficult to figure out who the characters were and what was happening. But do you see me complaining? It was all around great!
