This book was so close to a 5 star read for me! Kelley Armstrong is fantastic at writing ghost stories, and the mystery element in this book kept me on my toes and I was eager to find out more. The one thing I will say is that the book seemed to come to too quick of a conclusion. I actually enjoyed the speed at which
Bronwyn and William’s relationship unfolded
, however I wish that this book had been longer! The ending felt too rushed and while I felt like it did well to tie up all the loose ends, I wish there had been more to the story. I think if the book had been even 50-100 pages longer that
all of the murders / identities of the ghosts
could have unfolded in a more satisfying descriptive way.

TW/CW: Sex, death, murder, death of a child, loss of a spouse, ghosts, scary sequences

REVIEW: A Stitch in Time is the story of Bronwyn, a college professor who inherits an old (haunted) house in the Yorkshire moors. She comes for the summer to see the house she spend a great deal of time at as a child, and which holds both painful and wonderful memories…and time travel.
I have enjoyed Kelley Armstrong’s books since Bitten, and this is no exception. It’s different than her other novels, but it still has her fast-moving prose, interesting stories, and her interesting theories of the supernatural.
Light and fun, this book does have its spooky moments, and there were times I got spooked out reading it late at night!
Still, this is a good book and I definitely recommend to those who enjoy books about time travel and ghost stories.

I couldn't out this book down while I read it! I was wrapped up in the plot, lived the characters and found myself reacting out loud to several scenes throughout.
