The Enneagram Letters is a collection of essays, poems and reflections written for each of the nine enneagram types. Each chapter is dedicated to the part of us that relates to a certain number of the enneagram.
I have been nodding my head, underlining and journaling from every chapter. Often it felt as if the author was talking right to me, challenging me, comforting my fears, acknowledging my strengths.
The Enneagram Letters is an absolutely beautiful book & one I expect to return to again and again.

I would not constitute this as poetry. This is more half nonfiction enneagram and half memoir of Sarajane Case's experiences relating to the themes of the enneagram.

I listened to the audiobook and I really enjoyed hearing her voice. I was obsessed with Sarajane when I lived in Asheville! She is such a sweet and wise person with such a beautiful and strong voice. This warmed my heart and also tore it back down again with all the neglect and hurt she has endured. It was very relatable to my life.

I think this might be a nice book to reference if you're going between a few types and trying to nail it down and seeing what chapter resonates with you most. I also think if you're trying to work on yourself overall and might need a catalyst or validation this could also help. But I wouldn't just recommend this book to anyone if they didn't know anything about the enneagram as it doesn't not go super into depth as to what it is and what it means. Please reference the work of art that is The Honest Enneagram for that information! I wouldn't read this one again but I also didn't have a bad time experiencing it.

I really know very little about the enneagram so I was interested to learn more with this book. I definitely saw pieces of myself in every chapter and overall enjoyed listening to it. I think it was a great way to introduce someone to the enneagram because so much of it was expressed in poetry and overall feeling rather than getting into the technicalities.

I think the audio was well done and it kept me engaged. This is obviously a very personal topic and the book seemed like a therapeutic exercise for her. And it's made me interested to learn more about where exactly I fit!

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy.

I cried, I smiled, and, most importantly, I journaled the whole way through. SERIOUSLY. This book provided a great tool for connecting with my feelings and to process and reflect on those. It created space for me to empathize with all the different parts of myself and empathize with others as well. Also, just a beautiful book. Definitely a book I’ll keep on the coffee table and return to for writing prompts.

Such a awesome take and look at this topic. The author brought a sense of understanding to the Ennegram. I recommend this to anyone interested in the Ennegram system .

I was granted a copy of this book by Netgalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.
Enneagram is a system of 9 personalities, and knowing them helps you know what overwhelms you, and what are your skills, enhancing your best traits, making you aware of what maybe you can work on yourself, self-love, patience with yourself, making you stop and see that it's okay to slow down and relax, to be grateful for the little things, tell yourself you're doing everything you can and that's okay.
This audiobook’s very relaxing and informative. With easy and informative knowledge about each of them.
In each chapter, we see one personality type focus so it gets personalized and for the better self know ourselves.
The author Sarajane Case it’s such a down-to-earth human being, she’s the one narrating the audiobook which makes this so much more intimate and relatable, the voice it’s suitable, and feels like we are having coffee with a friend listening to their experiences and seeing ourselves through them.

If you love the Enneagram but are looking for a fresh perspective, then Sarajane Case's new book is a must read. This book invites the reader to explore the part of them that identifies with each Enneagram type through short essays and poems that are beautifully written. Sarajane taps into the essence of each type while also describing experiences that feel universal in a way that inspires compassion for ourselves and the people in our lives who identify with whatever type structure we are reading about. This book presents the knowledge and wisdom of the Enneagram in a new way that takes beyond the descriptions of the types and leads us into a deeper exploration of the types. I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone who sees the Enneagram as a tool for building compassion this is required reading.

The book examines the idea of using the enneagram as a whole, that is all nine types, rather than just your own type that you identify with.

Each chapter is about a different enneagram type and the part of yourself that fits into that particular type, so you are meant to read and relate to each type in every chapter.

It was full of very insightful, helpful and practical messages, (once I got used to the new agey voice with which it was written).
I thought, for example, the grandparents in Florida story was a touching analogy in demonstrating reactions to authority.

A worthwhile read. You can see that the author put a lot of time and effort into this book.
