Nothing incredibly bad about the book because I did find myself coming back to it. But I feel like it drawled on for too long and it was very all over the place. I also didn’t connect to any of the characters so it took me out of the story. Less of the fall cozy vibes (especially since it’s set in summer) and more of fantasy war vibes :/

Not terrible but pretty forgettable. I will likely not be continuing the series.

I somehow got through this entire book while completely unengaged 😅

Take this rating with a grain of salt though as I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that cozy fantasy is not really my thing.
