It was alright. I thought the ending was rushed. An easy read. Read this alongside a fantasy so it was a nice lighthearted break from that.
I enjoyed the first 70% of this book. Had a decent slow burn and build up.
But once the couple gets together, what's gonna happen in the last 25%?
Probably some miscommunication issue or break up. I didn't feel invested enough to find out.

3.8⭐️ This was the mid I expected it to be. I didn’t pick up this book expecting a 5⭐️ read. This book delivered the easy multitasking (audiobook) experience I was looking for. Not everything needs to be a flipping literary masterpiece.
I do have to say I thought some of the dialogue was a little cheesy but for the most part this served up exactly what I expected!

This was a no brainer. It's hockey romance. Duh. Obviously I had to snag it.
Aiden is the star played on the Florida Fury professional hockey team. He's the least superstitious professional athlete you've ever seen though, opting for #13 and not having any pre game rituals to win like his teammates. When he's in the midst of the slump of his life, he's celebrating NYE and finds a woman who takes his breath away. Only she throws a glass of white wine in his face. And POW. Slump over. Now, he's got to find her and convince her to throw wine in his face again. He wants this woman around and it seems she's resisting his charms. How long can she hold out before she gives him a chance?
Aside from the predictable third act breakup, this was pretty good. It felt like a pretty standard sports romance.
