This was pretty good but the social media stuff was a bit awkward to read about. Overall not bad at all, I’ll read more.

Social media specialist loses her biggest contract. Hockey player who has a crush on her takes over the spot. She ends up going to every one of his games because she becomes his lucky charm.
She lies for half the book, saying she is in a relationship for no apparent reason. He figures out she's not, but the lie isn't why they have a 3rd act breakup it's the pressure of his job. She forgives him and its hearts and flowers.
The end.
Heroine is wishy washy with no backbone to stick to her decisions.
The hero does nothing but be nice to her until the end.
Very slow burn. Almost no spice.

Saige Fowler runs her own business doing social media for famous athletes - but she won't date them after her high school sweetheart turned pro football player broke up with her a few years ago.

Aiden Drake is a professional hockey player and he's in a slump. After a NYE party where he met Saige, his game play improves, so he decides to get her to be his lucky charm for the rest of the season. He's very attracted to her, but he believes she's dating his agent - can you say "awkward"?

Saige doesn't want to feel the things she's feeling for Aiden, because she's been there, done that, thrown away the jersey. But the chemistry between them is combustible - it's just a matter of time before she lets it burn.

Aiden is a refreshing mmc - he's not portrayed to be a serial dater, but simply a very talented athlete who is very protective of his family's privacy because *reasons*. He figured he'd have his hockey career and then chase his HEA. He tries letting her go for the sake of the game, but quickly learns a lesson in what's really important, no matter what the team owner has to say. Now the only goal he cares about is the one where he gets to wake up next to Saige for the rest of his life.

A quick, fun, sexy read. The characters and side characters are likeable and the friendship and familial connections are strong.

Perfect sports Rom Com!! Loved this one. Great short, easy read but def with the feels. Loved Aiden and Saige, the way their friendship built, the easy chemistry between them. Kind of a slow burn and I loved it.

Aidens been in a slump for the last eight hockey games. Saige is the girl who threw a drink in his face on New Years Eve, but could she also be the one who gets him out of his funk?? Or is that just a reason he’s using, in order to see her again?

I am totally in my sports romance era and this book fit perfectly! Will def be continuing the series.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Excellent - Highly Recommended
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - A good, solid read
3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - An okay read
2 ⭐️⭐️ - Meh
1 ⭐️ - Not my cup of tea

This was a good start to the series for me. I like the hockey ones, and the players are usually really entertaining.
