I give all my stars to Charlie but it's still lesser than what he deserves.

Loved this book! I found myself rooting for the main characters despite all odds, I’m excited to read Alison Cochrun’s newest book

Definitely a fun book, probably would have rated it 3.5 or 3.75 if it weren’t for the dual narration. Both narrators did voices for the different characters, and since the two leads are both male and both narrators are male, it just felt really confusing. I couldn’t ever keep track of which voices belong to who. I don’t love, dual narration usually anyway, but it doesn’t bother me too much. It just seemed unnecessary in this case because the point of dual narration in books following hetero couples is usually so the chapters with the POV of the woman can be voiced by a woman and the chapters following the MMC a man. Either have one narrator do both POVs or don’t have them do these wildly different voices for the characters. Also one of them should never do female voices. Like ever. Idk which one it was but oof.

cute romance novel. though i could see how Charlie and Dev's personal issues could get really annoying to read about sometimes. Me personally, I found it somewhat endearing so I didnt mind it too much
