Alison Cochrun is my favorite romance writer - all of her books are full of interesting characters who are flawed and wonderful.

I love the representation in this book - bi, gay, lesbian, Indian, Asian, ace and demi, and I love how Cochrun purposely works consent into the narrative.

It's really hard to read traditional, heteronormative romance novels when Cochrun is writing such gems.

Way to break my heart and put it back together again! Mental illness was a BIG feature in this book, it seemed like everybody was affected by it one way or another. Charlie has something to prove and Dev is always proving he’s always fine. When the walls break down and feelings are exposed, it’s hard to follow the script. I love all the vulnerable aspects of this story. It gave me all the FEELS and it’s a devastatingly beautiful fairy tale.
