I fucking loved this book it’s so cute and made my stomach felt like a thousand balloons were being released (:P). The characters were lovable the writing style kept me rooting for them and the plot was obviously cute I love Charlie and devs growth and fucking finally that b1tch Maureen got kicked I was sick of her from the beginning. ok that’s all
This was cute. The writing at times was a little clunky and awkward but it was a fast read.
i really love charlie but overall it was just alright. i can fix it

The Charm Offensive has everything I want in a novel: it made me laugh, cry, learn, and yearn (albeit for fictional characters). Consider me charmed.
This is the first gay romcom that I have read, and it was a super fun read. The characters were warm and made sense together, and the forbidden romance was just right. I didn't love the ending, but the rest of the book made up for it.
DNF at page 10. This book grates on my nerves and it starts from the very first line
Dev Deshpande knows the exact moment he started believing in happily ever after.
It's not the content of the sentence, but it's delivery and it continues in this style. If you enjoy reading stories that are internally narrated, I'm sure this is a great read. But every time the story starts narrating, I hear the narrator from Ella Enchanted and groan
