Agree with most of the other comments, this one is significantly better than the second (which I still enjoyed).
Toyota seems like a great character to introduce, and Hero's arc is handled brilliantly. My only slight desire is for more Ampersand!

These books are just...wow. Compelling storytelling. The characters are incredible. I think what I love most is that I genuinely never know what's going to happen next. I'm always completely shocked by the turn of events. But it never feels hokey or unrealistic.

New characters are introduced and old ones are redeemed in Yorick’s new adventures. Interesting character work and a story that is funny and profound make this series a must read.

Totally coincidentally several of my friends have been asking for recommendations for graphic novels either to get themselves into comics or as an introduction for friends. I can't stress enough how much people need to read this series. Now that they've been putting out these gorgeous hardcover collections I've been re-reading the series and it's still just as good as I remember. Easily one of the best series of the last decade.

This series continues to be great. Following Yorick and his merry band of misfits on their trek to find both a cure for the plague that killed all the other men and his girlfriend, Beth, who's in Australia, is never boring. Vaughan's writing and Guerrera's pencils bring the story to life perfectly. I'm really looking forward to reading the next one, and I have to say, I'm really happy that I decided to read the deluxe editions, instead of having to wait for issue to issue.

The story is really picking up and I'm halfway done with the series. Not going to lie, the reveal of why Dr. Mann thinks Yorick survived the disease was a let down. Maybe something else will develop? Also I do not like how Yorick keeps hooking up with a girl in every city. At least we finally saw Beth again.

Good times! The plot is cooking along - there's just as much sex and violence, but it feels like a few more positives were sprinkled in this volume. 👌🏻

I love this series so much. The team behind this book keeps building and explaining what happened without giving the reader too much information.
