I was looking for a quick read to help get me into the fall mood and I definitely found it here. This novella was the perfect blend of pumpkin AND spice.. not super plot heavy but tonnes of fun to read. Axel and Des are the perfect combination of grumpyxsunshine and I loved their relationship and how he only gaves smiles to her.

Look sometimes the plot is smut and that can be a wonderful thing! If you need a refresher between books, or just a quick smutty book with

“Anyone and You” is just what you’ve come to love from Jack Whitney. This novella follows characters Des and Axel on their blind date at a fairground in autumn (so think ferris wheels, orange leaves, and pumpkin spice).
Axel, who lives next door to Des, is your typical morally grey lead male: gruff, of-few-words, and extremely closed off. Des is, naturally, his complete opposite: raunchy, bubbly, and a chatterbox. True to this trope, thy end up hitting it off and having the sexiest blind date.
Jack Whitney is perfect if you’re a fan of Sierra Simone but don’t like sitting through unnecessary plot. Whitney is straight to the point, with enough buildup to make the relationship feel authentic. This novella is a solid 4.5 and one I’ll be reading again when the weather cools down and the leaves begin to fall.

I don't think I should read romance novella's, too unbelievable without a reasonable time jump
