Holy heck it's steamy. Who knew that I would fall in love with a cowboy romance, and I need more immediately! This was almost a DNF for me, only because it took close to 200 pages to get to the action but once it does, it doesn't stop! Elsie Silver does an amazing job at creating a tasteful workplace romance.
The plot centers around Rhett Eaton professional bull rider with a bad reputation, in hopes of clearing his name (and brand deals) his agent assigns him a babysitter for the last leg of his tour, Summer Hamilton. The only issue? Summer just so happens to be the daughter of his agent. I loved the banter between the two main characters, Summer was so sassy and really stood her ground when it came to Rhett. Immediately the connection and banter between the two of them was spot on, not only that, Summer fit right in with the Eaton family.
What really brought it all together, was the fact that it wasn't just some fluffy romance. The fear of Rhett not knowing if he would be able to continue his legacy with his injuries really got to me, and hearing about Summer's history broke my heart. These two characters really needed each other, and it seems they both came into each others lives at the right moment.

Okay, Rhett. You made me a fan.
Flawless is both a sweet and steamy small town romance. There was so much to love about this story, especially the snarky banter between Rhett and Summer! While a slower build, the pining and short chapters kept the story moving and it never felt slow to me. The author developed Rhett’s family - the brothers’ relationships are amazing and hilarious - and friends enough to have me hopping on board (or mechanical bull?) for the rest of this series!
Tropes: Forced proximity, taboo relationship
Steam: Slow burn, and open door
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Flawless lived up to every single hype that I've seen. It was funny, emotional and, of course, steamy. The chemistry between Rhett and Summer was instantaneous. The bickering between those two was so damn cute because of how hard they were trying to make it not obvious that they liked one another. Also, the fact that Rhett was losing sponsorships because he vocally made it aware that he hated milk made me laugh out loud. Especially all of the hilarious jokes that comes along with that.
I loved the Eaton family, especially their dad. I can't wait to read the books following Beau, Cade and Jasper! Summer's dad was surprisingly a trip, too. Reading the texts between him and Rhett were hilarious.
While this book was mostly funny and mostly consisted of Summer and Rhett hating each other, there were a lot of side stories that went a serious route. It was really nice to see how these hard times brought Rhett and Summer closer together, making them realize that they needed each other more than they thought.
TROPES:
- boss's daughter
- hate to love
- forbidden love
- forced proximity
- only one bed
- reformed playboy
- grumpy/sunshine
Overall, this book has made me an Elsie Silver stan and I can't wait to read more from this author. So happy I have so many backlist books to look forward to. If you want a book that is hilarious and is so good, you can easily binge in a day, pick this one up!!

And yes, Rhett Eaton is basically all that and more and I LOVE THIS BOOK to a point it made me just giddy just thinking about it.
Personal Ratings : 4.25🌟
Spicy Level (18+): 4/5🌶 (Damn)
A cowboy bull-rider who looks tough on the outside but is very soft at heart and a PR who is very much a people pleaser and has been a caretaker her whole life....... Come together and BOOM they molded to become one of a whole.
Firstly, lets just say how much of a softie I am when in comes to
✨Smalltown-romance
✨A male character whose not afraid to show that he's vulnerable
✨A VERY likeable female character
✨Very family-oriented
and well..... Cowboys? Damn I didn't even know it will be a thing for me till I read this book HAHHAAHHAAHAH. ( The Eaton brothers tho... damn)
Anyways..
This book for me has a good mash of buildup, with the problem at hand for both of them didn't feel "convenient", like its there just for the sake of being there, so I have to give kudos to that for the author cause I will be pissed to read another "problem" that popped out SEEMINGLY out of nowhere. It just pisses me off. I liked that the book has a Dual POV , so we get to know BOTH of their thoughts which made me love the book even more. What's more, I love the Tension that they have for each other, and how they came together, for me was natural and cute and VERY HOT .
There were some parts that I teared up a bit because I can relate to Summer so so much. She's such a positive woman that tries to be optimistic in life, and having a personality like Rhett with her just... well.. suits and I love them for it. I also liked how the author showed how someone who had been heavily gaslighted and groomed her whole life can actually mess up a person to make them feel unworthy of love; which to me is something that needs to be addressed and I applaud the author for that. Honestly, I can't wait to read her other books... cause.... damn I CANT WAIT FOR CADE's AND WILLA's book cause that ticks off all of my boxes.
What didn't make it a 5 star was I think just the overall... feel? I don't know how to pinpoint it, but I felt that there were some parts of the book that just.. didn't really come together? Its mostly me I think, but there was a part of the story that made me felt... I think..is more on it being an Enemies to Lovers, but for me..... it wasn't really that? I don't know how to word this well but I feel that they're more just irked at each other and not really enemies so I think its mostly on how it was marketed that ticked me off a bit.
But overall, I REALLY enjoyed this and I can't wait to read more of the series! Definitely would love to read the rest of the author's works because I love finding underrated authors to stan hehe.
Highly recommended!

“You are better than good. More than enough.”
I close my eyes and soak that up for a moment. Hearing that I’m enough for someone like Summer. I didn’t know how badly I needed to hear that.
