The writing is the thing that gets me with these.  It's a beautiful narrative that comes to life in my head so vibrantly that I'm just devouring the series. This story is gritty and hard, but I haven't enjoyed a series as much in a long time.

King Midas is the most evil book villain I’ve come across so far. This book was definitely the best out of the series. There were points that dragged on and seemed irrelevant. I think a good 200 pages could’ve been omitted. The ending is where it got really good so if you can make it past the boring parts, it’s totally worth it. I wanted to scream finally by the end of the book you’ll understand what I mean once you read it.
