I liked the first book but this one made me love this series! There was so much going on and I loved how everything was okay in the end. Tarisai’s wit is one of the best part in this one!

Another masterpiece by Jordan Ifueko.
If I could give decimal-point ratings, I would give Raybearer a 5.0/5.0 and Redepmtor a 4.8/5.0. There was nothing substantially different in terms of quality between the two, but I did feel that Raybearer was a slightly stronger novel with a more intentional plot. At times, I felt that the plot of Redemptor was trying to cover too much ground, resulting in a less intentional plot that felt a bit rushed at times.
This, however, is a minor detail; I overall really enjoyed both books. I loved the message of remembering - that, no matter how painful or ugly the past can be, we must remember in order to live a full, meaningful, intentional life.

A worthy follow-up to Raybearer! I enjoyed this sequel immensely, and I think it did a nice job of wrapping up this magical tale. I felt like the climax was a bit rushed, but other than that 4/5! ⭐️

It was a wonderful sequel to Raybearer. I read it in under a day. I was captivated, even now I can't stop thinking about it. Such a unique and beautiful story. I want to read more from this author!! Such talent!
