Quick & fast read featuring Gabriella, who is married to an abusive alcoholic, and Ashton, a vampire who sees her and knows that she is meant for him. Determined to get her out imof her situation, things quickly spiral out of control with the mental illnesses she seems to be under due to her situation. She is unsure if Ashton is real or a figment of her imagination. Even though this is short & quick, quite a bit happened and sets up the premise of a good novel - can't wait for more of Gabriella & Ashton.

WOW. I cannot wait for the full-length novel because after finishing this novella, I need more. I loved the gentle nature of Ashton. While short, the novella set up a great plot that had many twists and turns. I definitely am looking forward to the full-length novel, If Only They Knew.

What a read! Though it was quick, it sucked me right in.
The emotions from Gabriella and Ashton are strong and you can feel them from the very first meeting. I do wish there was more Interaction between Gabriella and Ashton. their first kiss was intense, but we didn't get much else from them after that. They built a relationship by enjoying each others company but there was no romance build up between them. I'm excited to see what lies in store for them next.

So this was my first book by Chelsii Klein, and I really enjoyed it! Being that If You Only Knew is a novella, it left me wanting more. Don't let the length fool you though, it is packed with action. I could not put it down and read it fairly quickly.
I can't wait to see what happens next in If They Only Knew.

This is book is not a normal boy and girl will fall in love with each other. Gabriella is married to her high school sweetheart. However, he is not the man that she once fell in love with. She has been abused, beaten and been tired. Gabriella is pregnant and has a younger son.
Gabriella tries to leave her husband and ends up bad for them.
Ashton. An immortal, Good-Looking. Ashton is in a process trying to get Gabriella and her son away from their home life.
This book is a pretty good book. The book was very intense however i felt like the book was missing something. The book is a short story and easy read. This book is made for mature audience, there is domestic violence mention, themes of domestic violence and personal loss. I felt like the book was a little rushed and the story still has potential.

A dark paranormal romance
Gabriella & Ashton
Gabriella is in an awful abusive relationship (*trigger warnings*) and has a chance encounter with Ashton. Ashton is the definition of possessive and all consuming but in a good way. He essentially “stalks” her to convince her they are soulmates and to get her to leave her situation.
The paranormal aspects aren’t super present. There’s mention of them but lightly. It was well written but short. There’s so much more detail that could have been added that was lacking that I would have enjoyed.

The premise of this story is great and has a lot of potential. However, this book feels rushed. We are missing so much needed character development and world building. As stated, the plot for this story is great, there were a few nice plot twists, and the potential for a great love story is there. If this story could be filled in, and then I’d be excited to continue reading.
